Heintzman Farms Opens New Sales Channels for Dakota Flax Gold Flaxseed Products

OCTOBER, 2001: Onaka, South Dakota - Owner of Heintzman Farms, Rick Heintzman has announced that the farm has opened several new and pending distribution channels for Dakota Flax Gold flaxseed. While significant new products are under development, new sales channels include nationwide direct response commercials and new international distributorships.

This month, Heintzman Farms participated in the Natural Products health show in San Paulo, Brazil. Dakota Flax Gold seed and flaxseed products are already distributed in Brazil through health clinics.

In July, Heintzman signed a distribution agreement to sell Dakota Flax Gold seed, capsules and nutrition bars in Korea. In September, Heintzman began discussions regarding possible new distributorships in Mexico, the Republic of China and Taiwan. Heintzman is also working with a large Japanese importer to explore the possibility of exporting flaxseed to Japan. Heintzman Farms participated in the International Fair for Food Ingredients and Additives trade show in Tokyo, Japan last May.

Beginning in January 2002, Heintzman Farms' Flaxseed Jet Kits will be sold through 60-second direct response commercials produced and aired by Buyers Shopping Network. This commercial will air in targeted markets throughout the U.S.
